The eligibility criteria, as per the revised guidelines of the scheme are as under:

The position of District Resource Person (DRP) is open to anyone who has relevant experience, such as retired government or bank officials, insurance agents, bank mitras, consultancy firms, and individual professionals. The role of the DRP would be to provide assistance and support to individual micro-food processing enterprises.

As part of their responsibilities, DRPs would be required to scrutinize and recommend applications to the District Nodal Officers (DNO). For each bank loan sanctioned, DRPs would be paid Rs. 20,000.
