During this time, candidates will have the opportunity to conveniently edit their forms. Post Office GDS Exam 2023

The date for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) has not been officially confirmed yet. Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), Female & Transwomen categories are exempted from paying the application fee. For other categories, the application fee is ₹100.

In addition, the India Post Department has set the monthly salary for the GDS Branch Postmaster (BPM) position between ₹12,000 to ₹29,380, while the GDS Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) & Dak Sevak positions have a monthly salary range of ₹10,000 to ₹24,470.
