Age Limit

To be eligible for this selection process, candidates must have been born between December 26, 2002, and June 26, 2006 (inclusive). If a candidate successfully clears all stages of the selection process, their maximum age on the date of enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 intermediate education with Mathematics, Physics, and English. Alternatively, they must have a diploma in Engineering in one of the following specializations: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology.

Physical Standards:

Male candidates must have a minimum height of 152.5 cm, while female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm.

However, for candidates from the North East or Hilly regions of Uttarakhand, the minimum height is 147 cm.

For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is 150 cm.

The weight should be proportionate to the height and age as applicable for the Indian Air Force.

The chest should have a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Candidates must have normal hearing, which means they should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.

They should also have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

Visual Standards:

Candidates must have a visual acuity of 6/12 in each eye, which is correctable to 6/6 in each eye. The maximum limits of Refractive error are Hypermetropia: +2.0D and Myopia: 1D, including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism. The color vision should be CP-II.
