AFCAT 1 Score Card 2023: How to Calculate AFCAT Marks 2023

Candidates can check their AFCAT 1 Score Card by using the normalization formula provided. This formula has been implemented to rationalize the marks scored by candidates appearing in different shifts.

For each correct answer in this test, you will receive 3 marks. However, if you answer a question incorrectly, 1 mark will be deducted from your total score as a penalty for wrong answers (negative marking). If you choose not to attempt a question, you will not receive any marks for that question.

AFCAT Result 2023: Check AFCAT AFSB 2023 Details

Once you have successfully passed the online written exam, you will be invited to attend the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) Interview. As a candidate, it will be your responsibility to choose the date and location for your AFSB testing within a specific timeframe. The AFSB testing will take place in four different locations: Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), and Varanasi (4 AFSB). If you have opted for the flying branch, please note that you can only select Dehradun, Mysore, or Varanasi as your preferred testing location.

The testing at AFSB would consist of three stages as given below:

Stage-I – Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test

Stage-II – Psychological test

Flying Branch – Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS)

The final merit list will be based on the combined performance of candidates in both the written exam and the interview. Once selected, candidates will begin their courses for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, and for the NCC Special Entry Scheme (Flying Branch only) in January 2024.
